The grand finale of Miss Mundo Colombia 2018, also known as Miss World Colombia 2018, was held tonight in Bogotá D.C., Cundinamarca. Laura Osorio Hoyos, representing Medellín was crowned the new queen by her predecessor Miss Mundo Colombia 2017 Maria Daza. Twenty eight contestants from all over Colombia competed for the national title.
Miss Mundo Colombia 2018 also crowned and appointed its representatives to Miss Asia Pacific International 2018, Miss Globe 2018 and Model of the World 2018.
Laura is a 22 year old Industrial Engineering student. She placed second at the Presidential Guard Battalion Madrina 2018 preliminary competition. Laura was also a part of our Top 5 favourite contestants competing for the title.

1st Runner-Up: Miss Mundo Antioquía 2018 Melissa López
2nd Runner-Up: Miss Mundo Bolivar 2018 Paola Márquez Castellín
3rd Runner-Up: Miss Mundo Tolima 2018 Johana Baldovino

Melissa López was also appointed Miss Asia Pacific Colombia 2018. Melissa is a Student of Communication and Corporate Relations. Melissa also won The Presidential Guard Battalion Madrina 2018 during the preliminary competition. She has also won the title of Miss Photogenic award and BodyTech Sports Test.

Also at the finale, Paola Márquez Castellín was appointed Miss Globe Colombia 2018 while Sabrina Soltaus was appointed Miss Model of the World 2018.
