The Miss Mundo Colombia organization hosted the election and coronation evening for the 2021 edition on 14th August 2021 at the 'Hall 74' Event Center in the city of Bogotá, where Andrea Aguilera won the title of Miss Mundo Colombia 2021 and an opportunity to travel to Puerto Rico in order to represent the country at the 70th Miss World pageant. Andrea succeeds Miss World Colombia 2019 Sara Arteaga Franco for the crown.
24 years old Andrea, who represented the department of Antioquia, is currently working as a professional model and presenter. She is also pursuing a major in Public Relations. In addition to winning the national title, Andrea also won the sub-prizes of Miss Photogenic, Bodytech Fitness Figure, Most Beautiful Face, Most Beautiful Smile.

With a career in Social Communication-Journalism, a Diploma in Neuro-linguistic Programming and a Technician in Early Childhood Care, she is also fluent in the English language and takes French classes. She considers herself a leading, passionate, dreamy, disciplined, charismatic and determined woman. She has a great vocation for service, a gift for people and a very special sensitivity for music, art and the rights of early childhood.
The newly crowned queen is leading a social transformation project called, 'Nutrir Neuronas', in which, through the social company Othello Nutrition, she manages the necessary resources to bring specialized nutritional treatment to hundreds of children with malnutrition. Andrea believes that taking care of early childhood is the best investment we can make as a society.

Prior to the election and coronation evening of the new Miss World Colombia 2021, several other titles were also awarded according to the performance of the contestants, standing out among them, the representative of the Magdalena department, Natalia Garizabal Vera, obtained the title of Miss Model Of The World Colombia.
