On being faced with the jury at Miss Universe Spain 2018, Paula would tell them that the reasons for them to choose her would be many. She says that she is very aware of what it takes to become the new representative of Spain, and that it includes effort and dedication, that she does not lack, with goals and objectives. At the same time she would argue that she considers herself a charismatic woman with a great capacity for ease and adaptation, whatever the situation, since she learns very fast and dedicates herself completely towards her cause. She considers herself a current and real woman, with its defects and virtues, since every defect can be considered a virtue according to how you propose it, starting from taking advantage of her life and enjoying it.

Paula believes that having a single dream would be to limit herself, so many of them would be to travel, visit countries, learn from their customs and their people, finish her studies successfully and the main one would be of achieving her own happiness.

She also discussed how life would change is she won Miss World Spain 2018, she says, “To become the new representative of my country would be a total and absolute pride apart from entailing a lot of work and learning, which I love. I could describe the world of fashion in three words, even though each of them involves a multitude of tasks behind. For me they would be constancy, difficulty and limitlessness.”

The most significant province in the competition, remains Cordoba, as most contestants from the area walk away with the Miss World Spain crown at the finale. It will be interesting to see if this beauty will be able to change the ritual.

Before 2013, Miss World Spain was appointed and not crowned. The first Runner-Up from the Miss Spain pageant was appointed Miss World Spain and would represent Spain at the Miss World pageant. On occasion, when the winner did not qualify (due to age) for the contest, another contestant from Miss Spain was sent. However, in 2013 Miss Spain was shut down due to bankruptcy, and it gave way to Miss World Spain.

The Miss World Spain 2018 gala will be held on 15th September 2018. The hotel Alegría Costa Ballena (Rota) official headquarters of Miss World Spain will host the candidates of the most important beauty gala in Spain.
