Carla Benítez will be representing the province of Las Palmas at the national gala of Miss World Spain 2020. Carla Benítez succeeded and was crowned by Miss World Las Palmas 2019 Tania Medina during the Gala held at the Plaza Grande de Guía in June 2018. If she wins the title of Miss World Spain, she’d be succeeding Maria Del Mar Aguilera.
Carla is 20-years-old and stands 176cm tall with a degree in auxiliary pharmacy. She works as a saleswoman as of now and is passionate about traveling, swimming and nature. She feels blessed and honored that she was crowned to represent Las Palmas at the Miss World Spain 2020. She wants to represent the essence of her island and how they are at the international platform of Miss World Spain 2020.
Carla is not new to the pageantry as she had previously participated in Miss World Las Palmas last year but unfortunately didn’t win. Since, then she has worked with some designers and photographers to gain some experience in the fashion and pageantry world. She has already started to prepare for the finale as she has started to work on her on-stage walk, interview skills, body language and maintaining her body for the competition.
Carla especially mentioned that she is very thankful to the organization, her family and friends who have always supported her to accomplish her dreams. Alejandro Nieto Mr. World Spain 2016 has also inspired and encouraged the diva to achieve her dreams and goals of representing Las Palmas at Miss World Spain 2020.
“I had a blank mind and just listened to the presenter. My partner and I were clenching our nerves and the minutes passed very slowly. When I heard my band, my tears skipped. The time came when everything had paid off, what I loved so much and I felt very proud that the jury had trusted me. Now I want to give everything and prove that I am worthy in the national” the diva explained after winning the crown.
Carla is very focused and dedicated completely to win the title of Miss World Spain 2020 and earn the opportunity to represent Spain at Miss World 2020. With her experience and all the positivity, the beauty queen has high chances to win the title as she can give other contestants a tough competition.
