At the climax of Miss Nebraska USA 2018 held on 7th January 2018 at Rose Theatre, Omaha, Nebraska, Sarah Rose Summers was declared the winner and was crowned by Jasmine Fuelberth, Miss Nebraska USA 2017. She will now represent Nebraska in Miss USA 2018. The first runner-up was Breanna Coffey.
Sarah Rose Summers is 23 years of age and is a native of Omaha city. She has studied Child Development at Texas Christian and has worked in the Promotions Team at Dallas Cowboys. Sarah is indeed beauty with intellect as she is currently working as a Child Life Intern at The Children's Hospital at OU Medical Center. Sarah is not new to the world of pageantry as she was also Miss Nebraska Teen USA 2012.
She is a beautiful soul and is associated with a noble cause of helping special children through her beautiful profession. Quiet often this beauty is seen promoting the various causes related to children’s health and it seems she deeply feels for the little ones who are in need.
She is a giving heart and that can be perceived through her words she once expressed, “One of my favourite ways to give is working with patients and families as an aspiring child life specialist. I am grateful for my volunteer experience in children’s hospitals that introduced me to this service profession that allows me to give daily. I would like to encourage you to find what cause resonates with your passions, and then determine how you can get involved, and stick to it. The opportunities for learning and impacting lives are endless and you are needed to make a difference.”
At the same event Michaela Edstrand was crowned Miss Nebraska Teen USA 2018 and she will now go on to represent Nebraska in Miss USA 2018. The first runner-up was Kiley Anderson.
