The finale of Miss Nebraska USA 2023 was held on Sunday, 26th February 2023 at The Rose Theater in Omaha, Nebraska where Mimi Wood, Miss West Omaha 2023, was crowned the new queen. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Nebraska USA 2022 Natalie Pieper and will represent her state at Miss USA 2023.

Mimi is 23 years of age and works as a dance coach based out of Omaha. This was her fourth attempt at the state pageant this year; she was third runner-up in 2020, and second runner-up in 2021 and 2022. Mimi was a sight to behold at the competition as she came prepared and impressed everyone with her sincerity and determination.

The newly crowned Miss Nebraska USA 2023 Mimi Wood’s court included –

1st Runner-up – Michaela Edstrand (Miss Photogenic)

2nd Runner-up – Bailey DeWispelare

3rd Runner-up – Grace Smith

The rest of the Top 8 were Miss Lincoln 2023 Emma Wilkinson, Miss Midwest 2023 Charity Williams (Miss Congeniality), Miss Papillion 2023 Ravyn Craver, and Miss Waterloo 2023 Mary Foster.

Also at the finale, Aubrie Charter won the Miss Nebraska Teen USA 2023. She succeeds and was crowned by Faron Medhi Miss Teen USA 2022 and will now go on to compete in Miss Teen USA 2023.
