Miss Nepal 2018 is a title that has 25 girls drooling over it, but, which one will finally wear the crown will only be determined on the night of the finale. The bar has been raised pretty high for these new finalists for the Miss Nepal 2018 contest. These girls will have some big shoes to fill, and it only means more hard work, and going through intensive preps. The girls have shown great enthusiasm so far, and have already been a part of the orientation.

Contestant number 25 Shrinkhala Khatiwada is one of the 25 delegates who is going to compete for the coveted national title.

Shrinkhala Khatiwada is a passionate writer and dreams to publish at least one book someday. Miss Nepal is her first time participating in a beauty pageant. However, she’s had plenty of experience in her field of architecture.

She was the personal relations officer at an architecture exhibition for her college in 2015. She was in charge of bringing in the sponsors and communicating with the media. She has volunteered for post-earthquake reconstruction at Jaraayotaar and Melamchi, Sindhupalchowk. She also featured in an Ad campaign for MnS VMAG .

She has also won the following awards; Asian Paints design competition, Architecture Student Award 2016, Kaleidoscope, Heroes of the Future, Architecture student award National 2017- Winner.

Shrinkhala holds a Bachelor in Architecture, for which she was a topper for the 4th, 9th, and 10th semester.

Nepal participates in five major international pageants, Miss World, Miss Earth, Miss International, Miss Asia Pacific International, and Miss Intercontinental. The reigning queens who will be passing on their crowns to their successors are Miss World Nepal 2017 Nikita Chandak, Miss Earth Nepal 2017 Rojina Shrestha, Miss International Nepal 2017 Niti Shah, Miss Asia Pacific International Nepal 2017 Sahara Basnet, and Miss Universe Nepal 2017 Nagma Shrestha.
