Celinda Ortega crowned Miss New Jersey USA 2021 for Miss USA 2021

The organization of Miss New Jersey USA hosted the coronation ceremony for Miss New Jersey USA 2021 on 1st August 2021 at the Hilton Parsippany Hotel in Parsipanny, where Celinda Ortega of Fair Lawn was crowned as the new queen. Celinda succeeds and was crowned by Miss New Jersey USA 2020 Gina Mellish, who was placed in the Top 10 at the finale of Miss USA 2020.

Celinda is 26-years old. She earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations from Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey. She is excited about taking over the crown duties and start preparing for Miss USA 2021.

Miss New Jersey USA 2021 Celinda Ortega’s court includes:

First runner-up: Alexandra Lakhman

Second runner-up: Mayelin De La Cruz

Third runner-up: Jessica Ervey

Fourth runner-up: Kailyn McBride

The beauty queen is not new to the world of beauty pageants as she was adjudged as the fourth runner-up at the National American Miss New Jersey Teen 2013. She became the vice president of Stellar Role Models Pageant, where she also worked as a coach since 2013. She was crowned Miss Bergen County in 2017.

Celinda was also a part of Miss New Jersey USA 2018 where she finished in Top 18 and was placed in Top 17 during Miss New Jersey USA 2019. The beauty queen’s determination to represent the state at Miss USA 2021 is commendable and she is very confident in herself. She speaks English, Spanish, and French fluently.



Also at the finale, Delaney Musgrave was crowned Miss New Jersey Teen USA 2021 and will now represent her state at Miss Teen USA 2021. Skyy Hills, Julianna Howell, Darianny Bautista, and Isabella Galan were adjudged as the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up at the end of the event finale.

Celinda will represent New Jersey at Miss USA 2021 at the Paradise Cove Theater at River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA.
