After winning the crown, with watery eyes, she expressed her delight by saying, “I’m on cloud nine, today has been quite a whirlwind and it still hasn’t quite hit me. When it happened, I couldn’t stop crying. You hear the phrase, ‘don’t give up on your dream.’ I’ve always wanted to go to the Miss USA pageant, but was about to give up.”
