Miss Philippines Earth 2017 pageant organised the Trash to Class contest which was held last night at Versailles Palace in Alabang. The contestants wore creations made out of recycled and trashed materials, turning them into innovative fashionable outfits. All the 40 girls looked gorgeous as they walked the ramp donning their creative outfits.

Based on the performance by the 40 finalists, the winners for the segment were announced. Celine Pangan of Ozamiz City emerged as Gold Medalist. She wore an outfit which was classy as well as creative. Rheena Ferrer of Makati City grabbed Silver, with Marie Sherry Ann Tormes of Mandaluyong City and Klaidel Concepcion of Marikina City sharing the Bronze.

Klaidel Concepcion had nothing to wear as her designer failed to arrive on time. Some of the contestants however contributed the pieces from their respective outfits to form an instant wear for her. Although it looked a little out of place, she, nonetheless, ended up winning bronze.

Miss Psalmstre: Samantha Acosta of Pulilan

Miss Redfox: Samantha Acosta of Pulilan               

Miss Placenta: Ella Mortola Bautista (Nellza) of Villanueva

Recently, the Talent Competition was held for the Singing Category, wherein the girls showcased their musical talent and impressed the judges with their beautiful performances. Based on their performance, the following contestants were announced as the winners –

GOLD: Miss El Salvador City 2017 Elizabeth Amahan                            

SILVER: Makati City 2017 Rheena Rae Ferrer

BRONZE: Miss Olongapo City 2017 Kim de Guzman and Miss Mandaluyong City 2017 Marie Sherry Ann Tormes
