Miss Philippines Earth 2017 pageant is moving towards the finale which is scheduled to be held on 15th July 2017. The winner will represent the Philippines at the Miss Earth 2017 pageant. The contestants are going through a series of Preliminary Activities and competitions to mark their placement in the finale. Amidst all the events and activities, the finalists will be starting a tour to the various schools in Philippines to promote environmental awareness. Recently, the girls competed at the Talent Competition (Dance Category) of Miss Philippines Earth 2017 and following were announced as the winners –

Gold: Jessica Rose Mc Ewen of New Zealand

Silver: Sofia Jane Panapanaan of Paranaque City

Bronze: Shaina Louise Kim of Lucena City and Samantha Viktoria Acosta of Pulilan Bulacan

Miss Philippines Earth originally called “Miss Philippines” is an annual national beauty pageant held in Philippines every year that selects representatives for the Miss Earth international pageant. In case the winner does not qualify due to age or other reasons, a runner-up is sent instead.
