The crowning of the Miss Philippines Earth 2017 winners took place on 15th July 2017. Karen Ibasco from the city of Manila won the title and made headlines. Nellza Mortola Bautista was crowned as Miss Philippines Fire 2017, Kim De Guzman was crowned as Miss Philippines Air 2017, Vanessa Mae Castillo was crowned as Miss Philippines Eco Tourism 2017 and Jessica Marasigan was crowned as Miss Philippines Water 2017. The queens have been busy in various events and activities since their crowning.

Recently, the winners visited the CNN Philippines news center to share their winning experiences and memories. They were warmly welcomed by the hosts and all of them looked quite excited. The queens seemed confident, and all discussed their likings and interests and the experience they had on the stage when they were competing with each other.

Miss Philippines Water, Jessica Marasigan is a student of Mass Communication and expressed her wish to be a news anchor someday. She was asked to present some lines amidst the interview as an anchor and she did it quite brilliantly. The best part to watch was the unity they all had and the zeal to encourage each other.

Along with that, the beauties happily answered the queries put forth by fans through phone calls. Karen Ibasco was also asked about her plans and preparations for the prestigious Miss Earth competition.
