The 20th edition of Miss Philippines Earth i.e., Miss Earth Philippines 2020, was all set to be hosted on 10th May 2020 but keeping the current situation in mind the pageant is going to held virtually. The ‘Eco-Angels’ from all over the country will be competing for the title of Miss Philippines Earth 2020 and their chance to represent Philippines at Miss Earth 2020.
Miss Philippines Earth aims to give a strong emphasis on environmental awareness programs and the delegates actively promote and get involved in the preservation of the environment and protection of Mother Earth. Miss Philippines Earth 2019 Janelle Lazo Tee from Pasig City will crown her successor at the end of the pageant.
The Eco-Angels who will be competing this year will have to outdo their best in terms of advocacy and their vision for Mother Earth. The delegates have started to prepare themselves for the big event. One of the delegates that has caught our attention is Rosene Liong Bernardo who is representing General Trias, Cavite at the competition as a front runner for the title.
Rosene Loing Bernado is not new to the pageantry as was previously crowned Miss Philippines Globe 2018. She has a major’s degree in Diplomatic Relations and will be competing for the title of Miss Earth Philippines 2020 and a chance to represent Philippines at Miss Earth 2020.
Rosene is very passionate about beauty pageants as well as about nature. She wants to use the platform given to her to advocate about helping mother nature. Her focus is on maintaining hygiene and less use of plastics in the world. Especially when the world is dealing with pandemic like Covid19, Rosene has take up on herself to spread awareness regarding the safety measures one should take while such tough times. She has urged that everyone should practice proper hygiene, disinfect all surfaces at home.
Rosene is beautiful, confident and strong individual who is very apt with keeping her thoughts out in the world. She is very connected to nature and likes to spend her free time in nature. She is a believer of god and strongly believes that if we work hard and have faith in god, things happen in our favour.
The diva wants to be a role model for the people who are passionate about beauty pageants and wants to use to the platform to make a difference in the society. She wants the young women to know that it is okay to dream about goals and ambitions and if they are dedicated and determined to win, they can win.
