After the successful completion of the 20th edition virtual pageant last year, Miss Philippines-Earth is all set for the 2021 contestants. Doors are now open to aspiring beauty queens and environmental advocates to become a part of a life-changing experience. A beauty event whose raison d’etre is to have its candidates and winners actively promote and get involved in the preservation of the environment and the protection of Mother Earth.

Together with the Miss Earth Foundation, Inc., Miss Philippines-Earth aims to give a strong emphasis on environmental awareness programs. The five titleholders will serve as the Ambassador to environmental protection campaigns in the country. Miss Philippines-Earth represents Philippines at one of the biggest international beauty competitions - the Miss Earth Pageant.

The nationwide search for the next wave of Beauties for a Cause is now set in motion for Filipinas. Miss Philippines Earth is looking for potential divas, 18-28 years old, with height of at least 5’4”, of good moral standings with outstanding looks and strong personalities. Some other criteria of selection include above-average communication skills, having a good grasp of knowledge and concern for environment.

For this 21st edition, Miss Philippines Earth adapts the theme “Colors of the Earth” to reflect the vast and unique biodiversity of the country. The theme also hints at a brighter outlook on 2021 coming from a rather ominous 2020 due to the pandemic.

With the constant rise of Covid-19 cases in the country, the production thought it would be best to forego the live staging of the pageant for the second time. The grand coronation of Miss Philippines-Earth 2021 is set on July, and will take on a virtual format.

Even without the live coronation event, Miss Philippines-Earth followers can still look forward to an exciting virtual production showcasing the country’s breathtaking tourism destinations and, of course, the beauty of the Filipina earth ambassador.
