Miss Portuguesa 2017 or Miss World Portuguese 2017 pageant has kicked off and is moving towards the conclusion. The pageant kicked off in Lisbon and there are a total of 24 participants competing for the title. The contestants are utilizing their time to get prepared for the finale in the best way they can.

In addition to preparing for the finale, the contestants are busy with various activities and events that are lined up for them.Their official photoshoot at Elvas has been the best as they posed in stunning evening gowns and swimwear.

The girls also visited the oldest wool manufacturer in Portugal, which first started to operate in 1620. The delegates also learned a few things about the history and architecture of Covilhã.

The visit to the official cosmetics sponsor for the pageant, JCasado Cosméticos was a great experience for the contestants. The day did not end there, as the contestants then visited the Hotel Congress & Medical SPA, which turned out to be quite renewing.

It is going to be exciting to watch the candidates at the finale slated to be held on 29th July 2017. Cristiana Viana, Miss Portuguesa 2016 will crown her successor. Whereas, the winner will compete at Miss World 2017, the runners-up will go on to represent the country in other prestigious contests, such as Miss Supranational, Miss Grand International and Miss International.
