Miss Republica Dominicana Earth 2019 held its grand coronation night on 24th August 2019 at the Centro Cultural Narciso González in Santo Domingo where Yasmín Evangelista was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of Dominican Republic in Miss Earth 2019. Yasmin succeeds and was crowned by Miss Earth Dominican Republic 2018 Gabriela Franceschini.
The 22-year-old biology student represented Distrito Nacional at the national contest. She bested 27 other contestants to win the national crown. She took to her social media to reveal her emotions in a post captioned, “I am so grateful to have the opportunity to represent my country in an event as prestigious as Miss Earth. May we know more about this beautiful home we call planet Earth, because one can only love what he knows. Let's learn from the earth so that in that same spirit we can protect it. Eternally honored and graceful of this wonderful opportunity, my gratitude lies with all of you.”
The beautiful Afro-Latina has already become a crown favourite with her gorgeous beauty. She is a future biologist and speaks for the endangered species. She will definitely be a strong competition for the other ladies at the international platform.
Gabriela Franceschini represented Dominican Republic in Miss Earth 2018 but unfortunately failed to win a place in the Top. The country is yet to pioneer its win in Miss Earth pageant.
