Gabriela De La Cruz was crowned Miss Supranational Venezuela 2019 at a special event held on 22nd August 2019 at the Centro Cultural Chacao in Caracas as she became the official representative of Venezuela in Miss Supranational 2019. Gabriela succeeds and was crowned by Miss Supranational Venezuela 2018 Nariman Battikha Yanyi.
The 19-year-old stunner bested 29 other delegates as she competed for the national crown. The contestants returned to the stage again as they competed for Miss Earth Venezuela 2019 on 25th August 2019. She took to her social media to reveal her emotions in a post captioned, “I can't describe the happiness I felt the moment the Lord Prince Julio Cesar He crowned me, his nobility and affection definitely turned this unique and magical moment in which one of my dreams crystallized, now I will work hand in hand with the organization Miss Supranational Venezuela to bring the first crown of Miss Supranational 2019.”
The gorgeous beauty has the beauty as well the brains to win a strong foothold in the competition. Preparing herself for the international platform, Gabriela is working on her fluency, walk and other skills so she could win the first crown for her country.
Ivana Rodrigues representing Distrito Capital and Maria Laura López representing Tachira placed first and second runners-up, respectively.
Last year, Nariman Batthika Yanyi represented Venezuela in Miss Supranational 2018 and with her incredible performance she placed in the Top 10. The closest the country came to winning the Miss Supranational crown was when Valeria Vespoli placed as the first runner-up in 2016.
