At the conclusion of the finale of Miss Scuba International 2017 held on 17th November 2017 in Malaysia, Varsha Rajkhowa of India, the reigning queen, passed on her crown to Brittany Anne Novick of the United States of America, the new Miss Scuba International.
Alexandra Talbot Prior of United Kingdom was adjudged as the first runner-up, while Magda Jentgen of Latvia was declared as the second runner-up. Both the popular Asian beauties and the favourites to win the pageant - Sherlyn Legaspi Doloriel of Philippines and Madhina Nur Muthia Suryadi of Indonesia - could not win the title though made it to Top 5.

Sixteen finalists competed for the title of Miss Scuba International 2017, remaining finalists being He Haohao Miss Scuba China 2017, Sherin Tang Wing Suet Miss Scuba Hong Kong 2017, Lipsika Mondal Miss Scuba India 2017, Fuyuki Fujihara Miss Scuba Japan 2017, Vitoria Osorio Miss Scuba Macau 2017, Ho Chi Mun Miss Scuba Malaysia 2017, Gabriella Ochoa Miss Scuba Mexico 2017, Agnelly Solien Miss Scuba Papua New Guinea 2017, and Kim Dayoung Miss Scuba South Korea 2017.
