At the conclusion of the grand finale of Miss Serbia 2018 (Mis Srbije 2018) held on 11th October 2017, Ivana Trišic was crowned as Miss Serbia 2018 and she will now represent Serbia in Miss World 2018 competition to be held next year. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Serbia 2017 Andelija Rogic, who is Serbian representative for Miss World 2017.
At the same event, Maja Marcic and Nina Jovanovic were declared as first runner-up and second runner-up respectively. Sara Damnjanovic won Miss Photogenic title, while Dunja Marinkovic won Miss Internet title.
Ivana is 21 years of age and hails from Obrenovac, Belgrade. She bested 20 other candidates to clinch the coveted title of Miss Serbia 2018. She is currently the final year student of law and aspires to become a famous lawyer one day so as to fulfil the promise she has given to her late mother.
She is not just a beautiful face but is also known for her social works. "Do well to others and it will come back to you," is what she believes in. Her role model is Irina Shayk, one of the most beautiful models in the world who also does humanitarian work, and she loves Monica Belucci for her femininity and classical beauty.
After winning the title, the organisation of Serbia congratulated her, “Congratulations to Ivana Trišic who will continue our mission of beauty, education and culture in the prestigious pageant Miss World”.
