Miss Slovenije 2019 aka Miss World Slovenia 2019 held its coronation night just hours ago as contestants from all over the country competed for the coveted crown and at the end of the event finale Špela Alic was crowned the new queen. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Slovenije 2018 Lara Kalanj.
Špela Alic will now represent her country at the prestigious Miss World 2019 pageant. The stunning beauty performed with elegance and grace at the national contest proving her worth in the competition. She was a consistent performer and was also a part of our Top favourites for the crown. The newly crowned queen’s court included –
1st Runner-Up – Tinkara Smolar
2nd Runner-Up – Leja Plut
The finale fifteen contestants who competed for the crown were Špela Šolaja, Katja Beguš, Lucija Lampret, Tinkara Smolar, Špela Alic, Lana Mikec, Kaja Kopitar, Pia Hozjan, Leja Kovac, Anamarija Kastelic, Leja Plut, Lea Krulc, Emina Tatarevic, Eva Kosi and Nuša Semec.

Last year, Lara Kalanj represented Slovenia in Miss World 2018 pageant where she rendered excellent performance but lagged behind in securing her place in Top 30.Slovenia is yet to win its first ever Miss World pageant.
