Alida Tomanic was crowned Miss Slovenije 2023 (Miss World Slovenia 2023) at the finale of the national pageant held on 21st September 2023 in Radlje ob Dravi. Alida is expected to represent Slovenia at Miss World 2024.
Alida Tomanic is 19 years of age and hails from Ptuj. The stunning architecture student bested eleven other finalists to win the national crown. Alida succeeds Miss World Slovenia 2022 Vida Milivojša.
The newly crowned Miss Slovenije 2023 Alida Tomanic’s court included –
1st Runner-up – Aleksandra Matan
2nd Runner-up – Tijana Bektaševic
A number of special awards were also presented at the finale; Pika Kenda won Miss Slovenian news, Nika Šalamon was awarded Miss Personality, Nada Hejja was awarded Miss Photogenic, and Ines Marjetic won Miss Congeniality.
Miss World Slovenia 2022 Vida Milivojša is expected to represent Slovenia at Miss World 2023, the 71st edition of Miss World, to be held in New Delhi, India where Karolina Bielawska will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
