The 22nd edition of the Miss Slovensko pageant is on its road to the finale and is scheduled to be held on 29th April 2017. Miss Slovensko is one of the most prestigious beauty pageants of Slovakia. This year, a total of 13 finalists have been shortlisted to compete for the title. The 13 finalists are –

Interestingly, this year the fans and public will also get a chance to chose one of the girls who will be awarded with the Miss Congeniality Special Title. The voting lines will open from 27th March 2017. This year, the organisation is working in collaboration with the organisation “Heart for Children”. Heart for Children is a charitable project of the newspaper Novy Cas, managed by the Pontis Foundation. Its aim is to help children with disabilities all over Slovakia.
Miss Slovensko was established in 1993 after the dissolution of Czechoslovakia. From the year 1993 to 1995, the winner of Miss Slovensko went to Miss Universe and the runner-ups went to Miss World and Miss International. In the year 1996, Oklamcák Production took over the Miss Slovensko franchise. Currently the Oklamcák Production agency and TV JOJ along with the Forza Production House organize the most prestigious beauty pageant in the Slovakia, Miss Slovensko.
