After a successful Press Presentation, the Binibinis are now all charged to gear up for the finals, which is slated to be held on 30th April 2017. Press Presentation, which is one of the major events of the Bb Pilipinas pageant, was held at the Monet 2 ballroom of Novotel Manila Araneta Center. The beautiful candidates vying for titles at this year's Binibining Pilipinas 2017 pageant wowed members of the press and VIP guests during the much awaited event. The event was graced by former Bb Pilipinas title holders. Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach also made a special appearance to wish the Binibinis good luck in the competition.
The Binibining Pilipinas Organisation recently released the swimsuit photoshoot of the contestants. Donning all black swimsuits, the girls looked jaw dropping gorgeous as they posed for the shutterbug. This year, fans will get to choose their Miss Photogenic. Traditionally, the media used to vote for the Miss Photogenic among the roster of Binibining Pilipinas candidates. This year, the pageant opens this to the public. The total votes will then be added to the media’s votes to find this year’s Miss Photogenic.

A total of 40 contestants were selected to compete for the title of Binibining Pilipinas 2017. But, recently Binibini 36 Mae Lanie Chan was disqualified from the pageant. If reports are to be believed, Mae has been disqualified by the pageant organizer’s legal team, or BPCI, because of a sexy fashion shoot she did in the past. Talking about a possibility of replacement for Binibini 36, the organisation said, “We have to take this to the executive committee, so maybe we could get one more girl to replace the one that was taken just to please you people.”
