Miss South Africa 2020, the 62nd edition of Miss South Africa, will host its annual edition virtually in the month of August where the next delegate to represent South Africa at Miss Universe 2020 will be crowned. South Africa’s performance at the international beauty pageants has been incredible as the divas have always proven their worth in the competition and with their remarkable performances, they have taken home multiple titles, especially in the recent years. Rebuilt under ‘Face your power, embrace your future’, stunning beauties will compete for the crown and the opportunities to represent South Africa in Miss Universe 2020 and Miss World 2020.

While the official delegates are yet to be announced, there are a few beauties who have shown immense potential to be a part of this year’s national pageant. Lungile Kuhle Mabenaza has made it almost all the wish lists to be a part of Miss South Africa 2020 with her stunning beauty and grace.

Lungile seems like a potential candidate for the title because even though Miss South Africa 2020 would be her first international pageant, if she decides to participate; she has some experience and knowledge about the beauty pageants as she has worked with some of the renowned designers and brands in South Africa. She was crowned Miss Teen Kwatsaduza 2015 and since then the passion for beauty pageants has grown in Lungile.

The gorgeous diva is the face of a brand ‘Zharee Cosmetics’ which aims to bring out the beauty a woman already has in them. Lungile’s collaboration with the brand makes her even more potential candidate for title. She is an honest, positive, and encouraging women who believes that women should be given the platform to showcase their talent and intelligence out to the world.

Kuhle is an advocate of self-love and usually posts a lot about how women should work on themselves and preach self-love on her social media account. She explained, “Self-love is birthed in the trenches of our darkest moments—that’s why the light feels so good when we finally find it.” She feels that just like how Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi said in her question and answer round that young women should be taught how to take up space, she also believes that women should be taught about how one should acquire and work towards achieving their goals and dreams.

If she decides to participate in Miss South Africa 2020, Lungile will have to work hard as the organization is not just looking for a super model who can represent South Africa at international stage but they are looking out for someone who is shaped up for standing up for women’s rights, is a leader and has the ability to speak so powerfully that she can change the thinking of the world. Lungile fills all the boxes for the Miss South Africa 2020 and if she decides to participate, it will be so much excitement to watch her because she has a very strong and charming personality.
