The Miss South Africa organization will be hosting the coronation for Miss South Africa 2021 on 16th October 2021 at Sun International Grandwest Arena where the representatives for next year’s editions of Miss Universe, Miss World, and Miss Supranational will be crowned. The organization has officially announced the Top 10 delegates who will now compete for the national crown.
While this year’s batch boasts of extremely stunning and strong divas who refused to be silenced and commanded their powerful voices to be heard, some of these divas have stood out as some of the strongest and most potential contenders for the national title. So, without any further ado, here are our Top 4 favourites for Miss South Africa 2021 –
Kgothatso Dithebe
Kgothatso is 26-years-old and is currently studying for her LLB law degree at the University of South Africa. The diva also has a company that deals with construction and the supply of goods and services. Not new to pageantry, she finished in the top 5 at Miss South Africa 2019.
On asking why she decided to enter Miss South Africa 2021, she said, "I have seen how bullying and cyberbullying are rapidly increasing in our country, which leads to a lot of suicides and mental health issues. Being someone who was bullied, I know what that feels like. I took a different route and I want the nation to see itself in me. A story of a beautiful young girl who was bullied and committed suicide because she could not take it anymore has urged me to enter Miss South Africa once again; to be loud and to ensure I spread the message across all borders. I pride myself on representing my nation as a solid, growing, and relatable woman. "

Lalela Mswane
24 year-old Lalela Mswane holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Pretoria. The beauty queen has shared that she had faced a lot of rejections in the modelling industry, but patience and a mentality shift helped her to bounce back. Rejections have helped her to mould into the resolute lady she is today.
After being announced as one of the finalists, Lalela mentioned, "I believe that my advocacy for the abatement of unemployment in our nation requires dire attention and having the full support of the Miss South Africa Organisation would provide greater impact in the quest for meaningful and long-lasting solutions." Lalela mentioned that she entered Miss South Africa 2021 in pursuit of a childhood dream and she deserves to win the title because she possesses the compassion, tenacity, leadership, and people skills that make her worthy of the title.

Catherine Groenewald
One of the most potential names emerging for the title is of Catherin Groenewald. Hailing from Cape Town, Catherine is 22 years old and stands 167 cm tall. She is a multipotentialite working as a professional model, fitness instructor and owns a little online bakery. Catherine is not at all new to the pageantry world and has been a part of Miss South Africa earlier. If she does, she will be returning this year for the third time.
Apart from this she is currently a second year student of BA Visual Communications degree at Red & Yellow Creative School of Business. She is majoring in graphic design but also does marketing, photography, digital skills, visual communications and digital design. Catherine also runs a blog, ‘What She Does,’ where she shares tips and tricks around beauty, fashion, places, things or food while exploring all the incredible places and things that Cape Town has to offer.

Jeanni Mulder
Jeanni is 24-years-old and is currently doing a TEFL course to help educate people around the world to speak English. The diva started working as a professional model after graduating from school. She entered Miss South Africa 2021 to provide hope and create opportunities for the younger generation. She wants to use her voice, platform, time, and skills to improve the road that others must walk on. Being Miss South Africa is an honor and a responsibility, and she would use her voice to influence all South Africans.
A message that she wants to give to young girls and women in South Africa is, "Who you are and what you have to offer is enough. You are so powerful and you deserve to be heard. Find you why, because everything you need to achieve greatness is already inside of you." Jeanni would like to use her platform and voice to eradicate gender-based violence from the country.
