Miss South Africa 2022, the 64th edition of the Miss South Africa, is all set to be held on 13th August 2022 at the SunBet Arena, Pretoria. Lalela Mswane of KwaZulu-Natal will crown her successor at the end of the event. The winner will represent South Africa at either Miss Universe 2022, Miss World 2022 or Miss Supranational 2023.

The official panel of jury has been revealed who will be in charge of crowning the winners. Former Miss Universe and Miss World queens will be reuniting at the pageant. So, without further ado, here is the panel of jury of Miss South Africa 2022 –

Professor Thulisile Madonsela – A former South African public protector. She is an advocate and professor of law who has held a chair in social justice at Stellenbosch University since January 2018.

Harnaaz Sandhu – The reigning Miss Universe 2021

Thando Thabethe – An actress, entrepreneur, radio and tv personality.

Suzette Van Der Merwe – A former Miss South Africa 1990. After her reign as Miss South Africa in 1990, she started a successful business career where she focuses on social development skills through her leadership in the foundation space.

Devi Sankaree Govender – An award-winning investigative television journalist. She has spent the past 29 years in the media field and has worked for Carte Blanche for 18 years and gained a reputation for being fearless in highlighting corruption and crime.

Rolene Strauss – A former Miss South Africa and Miss World 2014. She is currently the chairperson of the non-profit organisation The Strauss Foundation.

Zozibini Tunzi – A former Miss South Africa and Miss Universe 2019.
