Miss South Africa 2023 Top 12 Finalists – Jordan van der Vyver

Miss South Africa organization, through their official social media, announced the Top 12 finalists who have moved on to compete at the final leg of the competition as the finale will be held on 13th August 2023. The winner will go on to represent South Africa at Miss Universe 2023 and/or Miss Supranational 2024.

In a series of features, lets know more about the Top 12 finalists which consists of stunning and talented beauties. Jordan van der Vyver, representing Western Cape, is a model and a businesswoman.

Jordan recently embarked on an entrepreneurial journey as the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of an online pioneering platform. She aims to provide aspiring individuals with invaluable insights, expert advice and comprehensive resources. Her prime concern is cultivating an inclusive society.

On winning the Top 12 spot, Jordan took to her official social media as she wrote, “As the first married contestant, I am immensely grateful and overwhelmed with emotion to make it to the Top 12. Being here is groundbreaking and a great honor. I am thrilled to represent the women who were once barred from pursuing and the realization of their dreams due to social norms. The Miss South Africa platform stands out as a pioneer in the pageant industry, and the opportunity to be a part of this process again is truly invaluable. It ignites a renewed sense of purpose and fuels my determination to make a meaningful impact.”

Jordan’s role model is the late Audrey Hepburn and it was because of meeting Jo-Ann Strauss that she felt passionate about joining Miss South Africa. She is passionate about not only being a beauty queen but also for bringing in the change in the society. She is very thankful for all the opportunities she has received and with every opportunity she believes she has learnt something which will help her in the competition. This is also not her first stint at Miss South Africa and thus the experience will also help her in becoming a front-runner for the competition.
