Asian front-runners at Miss Supranational 2022

Miss Supranational 2022, the 13th edition of the international pageant, is all set to return to the city of Nowy Sacz in the Malopolska region this June and July. The Miss Supranational 2022 Final Show will be broadcasted from the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater on Friday, July 15th. The reigning Miss Supranational 2021 Chanique Rabe from Namibia will pass on the title to her successor at the end of the event.

While countries from all over the world are busy electing their new queen, three Asian countries are already gearing up for their powerhouse divas to own the international stage, emerging as strong contenders for the title this year. So, without any further ado, let us meet the strong contenders from Asia for Miss Supranational 2022 –

Miss Supranational India 2021 Ritika Khatnani

Ritika Khatnani was crowned as Miss Supranational India 2021 on 30th September 2021 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Mumbai at the 9th edition of LIVA Miss Diva 2021. She is currently continuing her degree at Mumbai's Jai Hind College in Mass Media and Communication and is a passionate Bharatnatyam dancer, a talented artist, and a creative entrepreneur.

Ritika also has a passion for acting as well and takes a keen interest in modeling and performing arts. She is a firm believer in living a life of meaning and humanitarianism. She wants to be known for making others smile, making a difference and assisting those in need. The diva has known her calling for pageantry ever since she was a kid, having bagged first runner-up position at an international pageant at just 16 years of age, and is now all set to conquer her longtime dream.

Ritika comes from the land of two Miss Supranational queen, Miss Supranational 2016 Srinidhi Shetty and Miss Supranational 2014 Asha Bhat, and succeeds Miss Supranational India 2020 Aavriti Chaudhary who made it to the top 12 finalists of Miss Supranational 2021. India has always been a qualifier in the competition and Ritika definitely stands a strong chance to bring home the third Supra crown.

 

 

Miss Supranational Vietnam 2022 Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen

Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen was officially appointed Miss Supranational Vietnam 2022 in February 2022 as the country is all set to compete at Miss Supranational after an absence of two years. The diva is also creating a cross-over delegation having represented her country at Miss Universe.

After dropping out of the Southern Can Tho University in 2016, Kim graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Stamford Raffles University in 2019 from Singapore. Not new to the pageantry, Kim’s first beauty pageant was Miss Aodai Vietnam 2014 where she placed in the Top 12. Two years later, she won the crown of Miss Elegance Student at Southern Can Tho University in 2016 while placing in the Top 30 contestants and competed in the coronation night of Miss Vietnam 2016.

Most recently, the diva went on to represent Vietnam at Miss Universe 2021 in Eilat, Israel where she placed in the Top 16 with her excellent performance. The 25 year-old is also the co-founder of the ‘Spread of Love’ fund and accompanying the implementation of the project ‘With Me to School’, that is responsible for giving backpacks, books, and small fruits to add love to the children before entering the new school year.

Kim is known for her confident carriage, seductive charisma and has the advantage of speaking fluent English. She is definitely a fierce candidate who can represent Vietnam utmost potential with a remarkable comeback.

 

 

Miss Supranational Thailand 2022 Praewwanich Ruangthong

Praewwanich Ruangthong was crowned as Miss Supranational Thailand 2022 on 20th May 2022 at Show DC Ultra Arena Hall, Bangkok. 28 years-old Praewwanit is a graduate of the School of Arts and Management from Prince of Songkla University. Not new to pageantry, Prae was the 3rd runner up at Miss Universe Thailand 2020 and 1st runner up at the Miss Thailand World 2018 competitions.

Praewwanit is from Chumphon, Thailand but is currently living in Bangkok, Thailand and is currently working as an Account Executive with RPM Media. She is also a host and a model. The diva loves fitness and is a freak. She loves to work out and also maintains it every day by eating healthy and maintaining her diet. She is also a promoter of health and well-being.

 

 

She succeeds, Miss Supranational Thailand 2021 Queen Benjarat, who represented Thailand at Miss Supranational 2021 and finished among the Top 24 finalists. Ruangthong has prior experience, and great potential and can definitely prove to be a strong contender for the coveted crown.
