Deise Benício crowned Miss Supranational Brazil 2020

The organization of Miss Supranational Brazil hosted the finale of Miss Supranational Brazil 2020 on 28th November 2020 where Deise Beni´cio representing the Federal District was crowned as the winner and earned the opportunity to represent Brazil at Miss Supranational 2020 stage. She succeeded Miss Supranational Brazil 2019 Fernanda Souza for the title.

Deise is 28-years-old and stands 177 cm tall and is in the last semester of law, and aspires to be a successful lawyer. She was representing the Federal District at the competition is very excited to take over the crown duties as Miss Supranational Brazil 2020 and start preparing for the competition which is scheduled to be held next year. After wining the crown, Deise mentioned, "It was different because the warmth of the audience, the emotion through the audience that we feel is something that moves us a lot, especially when I was at home representing the DF, the audience is a point in favour.”

The crown was in turned as the shape of the Metropolitan Cathedral. "The Cathedral is my favourite place in Brasilia, the energy of that place is surreal and Having a crown on my head with the queen of Brasilia is incredible. It is a true work of art," she mentioned. The miss ribbon was given to the winner by the grandson of President Juscelino Kubitschek, André Otavio Kubitschek.

The diva took to her social media to thank everyone and mentioned, “I will never be able to describe clearly what I felt at this moment. But among so many mixed feelings, one undoubtedly stands out: gratitude! This victory, believe me, is not just mine. I had people who lived this dream with me, who dedicated time and love to make it possible. So, this crown is ours.” She is very strong, dedicated, focused, and confident about her performance.

 

 

Deise pageant career began in 2010 as she participated in Miss Rio Grande do Norte 2010 where she represented Macaiba. The event took place at Vila Hall in the state capital, Natal where Deise was the runner-up. Her second attempt at the contest took place four years later, after a hard-fought municipal contest in São Gonçalo do Amarante, where the public split between her and the then runner-up, Vanessa Muniz. In 2014, as she participated in Miss Brasil 2014, Deise achieved prominence as she competed with sincerity and dedication. Winning a position in Top 3, Deise was then asked to represent her country in Miss International in 2014, winning herself the first national title. At Miss International 2014, she placed in the Top 10 giving a spectacular performance.

The diva performed exceptionally well at the competition with acing every activity and impressing everyone with her confidence. She has stated, "I always dreamed very big and chased my dreams. When they come true it is a little surreal, we can hardly believe it. I am very proud.” She is very proud and blessed to be a part of such prestigious stage and where she met talented young girls from Brazil who aspire to make a positive impact in the society.
