The organization of Miss Supranational China announced pageant veteran Alice Li as the new Miss Supranational China 2020 via their official social media account on 14th February 2021. China did not participate at Miss Supranational 2019 but Alice Li is positive and excited to take over the crown duties and start her preparation for the finale.
After being appointed Miss Supranational China 2020, Alice took to her social media and shared, “I am excited to be meeting 80 new pageant sisters and make new friends from every single continent! With an audience of more than 100 MILLION people, Miss Supranational has grown quickly to become one of the world’s most prestigious live TV shows.”
Hailing from Beijing, Alice is 27-years-old and stands 175 cm tall. She is an is an entrepreneur, businesswoman who currently works as a Senior Associate in audit at PwC Canada, specializing in the asset management industry. Alice graduated from the University of Toronto as the Class Valedictorian and has completed both her undergraduate and graduate studies in accounting.
The diva is not new to the world of pageantry as she represented Canada in Miss Intercontinental 2018 and later represented China at Miss Global International 2019 in Jamaica. She was also one of the finalists at Miss Universe Canada 2020 where she was highly applauded for her performance but unfortunately wasn’t placed. Alice feels ready and excited about representing China at Miss Supranational 2020 and believes that she is ready to perform her best on-stage.
Alice aspires to be a Ted Talk Speaker and publish a book on time management as she has been keen to know and educate people around her with the concept of time. She wants to pass down all the lessons she has learned in life onto the next generation and keep looking for new ways to contribute to society. The diva loves to be in the front of the audience and perform and feels that her heart belongs on-stage.
The entrepreneur Alice, founded a nonprofit jewelry brand that donates all proceeds to charity. She named it the “Modern Princess” to exhibit that beauty is both inside and out. She explained, “Not only will you look beautiful wearing her jewelry, but you will also feel beautiful for supporting a good cause!” The diva is a strong advocate in the healthcare sector and is extremely passionate about improving the lives of people who need help. She serves as a board member on the William Osler Health Foundation’s Future Leaders Board, which oversees the Etobicoke General, Peel Memorial, and Brampton Civic hospitals.
Recently, she shared a post online mentioning that Miss Supranational organization is looking for aspirational women who are sparking inspiration for others. “I am grateful for the opportunity to start my own grassroot efforts in my community and work with a cause very close to my heart: orphaned and abandoned children. On this Miss Supranational journey, I look forward to opening and sharing my aspirations with you. Learn more about why I started my charity project of dancing on the streets and my efforts in helping orphaned children around the world. I hope to inspire you to feel EMPOWERED about what you can accomplish,” she added.
Alice Li is a strong, confident, empowered woman who is determined to bring in the change in the society and perform her best on-stage to make the people of her country proud. She wants to demonstrate the difference one person can make and inspire others to be their best selves. With 9 years of pageant experience behind her, Alice is going to be one of the strongest contenders for the title.
