The organization of Hidden Treasure Nepal hosted the coronation ceremony for Miss Nepal 2020 at Park Village Resort a few hours ago where Shimal Kanaujiya was crowned Miss Supranational Nepal 2020. The ceremony was broadcasted on live on Kantipur TV and Onlinekhabar.com. She has succeeded Miss Supranational Nepal 2019 Rose Lama for the title
Shimal is 24-years-old and stands 164 cm tall who aspires to be an entrepreneur and works as a professional model. She describes herself as cheerful, active, and enthusiastic woman who is ready to spread compassion, love, and kindness in the world. She has graduated from the Kathmandu University of Management. She strongly feels that hard work and determination is the only way one can achieve success in life.
The diva mentioned, “It took me years of patience and preparation to take up my space today. I hope I will be able to unleash my potential and present myself in the best possible way.” She was very confident, strong, and dedicated towards winning the title and she was able to impress the judges and the audience.

Along with Shimal Kanaujiya being crowned as Miss Supranational Nepal 2020, Namrata Shrestha was crowned Miss World Nepal 2020, Sandhya Sharma was crowned Miss International Nepal 2020 while Supriya Shrestha was crowned Miss Earth Nepal 2020 as the winners will represent Nepal at the next edition of Miss World, Miss International and Miss Earth respectively
During the finale, she was asked, ‘In future, would you prefer security of job or freedom of being an entrepreneur?’ To which she replied that she would prefer to be an entrepreneur over having a job security because it is related to innovation and she is a person who likes to innovate things and would like to explore the innovate side of hers. And choosing a job security would stop her from exploring the creative side of hers and doing something good for the society.
Shimal is going to represent Nepal at Miss Supranational 2020 stage and is very thankful and grateful for the title and feels that she will be able to perform her best at the competition and make Nepal proud. She is a strong contender for the title.
