Miss Tanzania Organization is all set to host its annual edition i.e. Miss Tanzania 2020 where stunning beauties will compete for the national crown and the opportunity to represent Tanzania in Miss World 2020. Miss Tanzania 2019 Sylvia Sebastian will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

The organization recently revealed the names of the 20 finalists who will be moving forward to compete for the title. All these beautiful and talented divas look promising, but we have selected six of them who we think have potential to be a front runner for the title or Miss Tanzania 2020. Let’s look at the favourites –

Advera Salum Mwemba

Advera Salum Mwemba is 22-years-old and is pursuing her bachelor degree in labour relation and public management. Her beauty with a purpose is about raising awareness among people about ‘Early Pregnancy’. She believes that a good leader is the one who has a clear vision and mindset that will help the society to change for good, who puts his/her interests aside and think about other’s first. A good leader is responsible and accountable for decision that will affect the society. She wants to be at a position where she will be able to help the people as much as she can.  She enjoys watching movies, traveling, and art designing.

Razia Abraham

Razia Abraham is 19-years-old and is studying in an Aviation school where she is taking Airline Customer service. Her beauty with a purpose project is about ‘Menstruation health education hygiene’. According to Razia, a good leader is someone who has a positive mindset and behaviour. She must have a focused vision and have the power to influence people with her words and ideas. She wants to become a voice for the girls and raise self-awareness and self-confidence within a girl so that she can stand for herself. She enjoys dancing and learning new things.

Prisca Noel Lyimo

Prisca Noel Lyimo is 22-years-old and is third year of her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Statistics. Her beauty with a purpose is ‘The Lost Hope’, which aims on helping and supporting the living across Gide Valley. Prisca feels that a good leader should be a person who has vision, courage, humility, focus, ability to inspire people and has faith in their beliefs. She describes leadership as, “all about being committed and passionate about what you do, and having confidence in yourself and the followers to whom you have to motivate and inspire.” She aspired to become the best version of herself that will bring positive outcomes to the community around her. She enjoys dancing, reading novels and volunteering in social activities.

Verynice Deokari

Verynice Deokari is 24-years-old and is studying diploma in business Administration level (4). Her beauty with a purpose is ‘Child Rights’ and focuses on combating child abuse. The diva believes that a good leader can be identifies by positive attitude of their teams and the trust the teams have in their leader. He/she will make sure that their team understands what they have in their mind and what is expected from them to achieve. A leader should be able to inspire the team members to have the confidence in themselves to use the different talents and skills for the goals. She is currently focusing on winning the title and then focus on activities that will help and reduce the child abuse in the country.

Gloria Fela

Gloria Fela is 23-years-old and in 4th years of her bachelor of medicine and surgery. Her beauty with a purpose is ‘Better Tomorrow’ which focuses on supporting children living in extreme poverty to get quality education. Gloria defines a good leader as the one who knows how to identify their own strengths and weaknesses and uses their strength to pave a way for others. He/she should always do more than what is expected of them and inspire a shared vision and promote team work spirit. She wants to win the title and serve as a positive and impactful role model for the society. She enjoys singing, music, reading books.

Rose Manfere

Rose Manfere is 20-years-old and is pursuing Bachelor of science in information system management. Her beauty with a purpose is ‘Autism Matters’ and aims to grow awareness and acceptance of children with Autism to the society. According to Rose, “A good leader is the one who is courageous, can face problems, step up and find better solutions. He/she is inspiring, effective and a good listener.” She aspires to stamp out superstitious believe concerning Autism by spreading Autism education in our society, and end stigmatization and prejudice over children who are Autistic. She enjoys dancing, swimming, and volunteering.
