Throughout the competition, Giorgiana made she stood out among her competitors; she looked gorgeous in her national costume photo shoot and turned heads in the swimwear round.
Being an avid animal lover, Giorgiana wishes to promote the rights of the wildlife of any nation on the planet. In her own words, “As for being an ambassador of the world, I would love to start promoting the rights of the wildlife of any nation on the planet. Animals are an important part of our ecosystem and us, as human beings, must learn to respect them. The way we love and value our animal creatures, talks a lot about who we are as individuals and tells about our culture.”
Marian Angelu Perez Alacantara from Philippines
Miss Tourism World Philippines 2017/2018 Marian Angelu Perez Alacantara is already a people’s favourite. The 18-year-old student has already captured everyone’s hearts with her dazzling smile and unique features.
As a millennial, Marian is full of new ideas that she has grasped by resonating with the youth of her age. As an ambassador, she wishes to give a different approach to tourism to promote the beauty of her country, as travelling has become more about self- discovery than just vacation.
On being asked about a message she would give to the aspiring beauty queens in an interview with us, she said,” Be unapologetic about who you are. In a world full of beautiful ladies and the constant pressure to be "perfect", don't change who you are. Instead, stand proud, tall and accept everything about yourself, including all your flaws. Don't let your insecurities hinder your ability to bloom and shine not only on stage but in this lifetime.”
Lucie Janosova from Czech Republic
Miss Tourism World Czech Republic 2017/2018 Lucie Janosova surprised everyone with her commendable performance in the ongoing Miss Tourism World pageant. Described as an altruistic, reliable and kind person, Lucie loves travelling, flying and learning languages.
Lucie has performed consistently in every photo shoot and events till now; she rocked the skywalk event in her dazzling attire and represented her nation’s history and culture in the national costume photo shoot with elegance and style.
There is no doubt that Lucie is a front-runner for the coveted title till now in the competition.
Andrea Katherine Gutierrez Puentes from Colombia
Miss Tourism World Colombia 2017/2018 Andrea Katherine Gutierrez Puentes is also one of our favourite picks from this year’s contestants for Miss Tourism World 2017/2018.
An engineer by profession, Andrea dreams of becoming the best professional in the field of her career. She wishes to be an example of discipline and rectitude and have a beautiful family based on values and structured in respect and love.
Andrea dazzled everyone at the national costume photo shoot with her traditional attire. She has also performed exceedingly well in all the other events till now in the competition. She believes, “I am working hard to help strengthen the country internationally. Thanks to the peace process a door to the world open for travellers to visit, know and fall in love with our landscapes, our exquisite cuisine and our diverse cultures.”
Dewa Ayu Windu Sari Devi from Indonesia
Miss Tourism World 2017/2018 Dewa Ayu Windu Sari Devi is not new to the world of pageantry as she was crowned Miss Internet 2013 and since then hasn’t looked back. Her experience and maturity is her USP in the competition.
As the representative of Indonesia, Dewa Ayu wishes to bring home to the crown and along with it, success and pride to her Asian heritage. Dewa Ayu dazzled in the events and promotions with her unique personality and smothering charm.
As an ambassador she says, “I would give all my efforts and dedications in promoting tourism in my country and also preparing myself to be a good tourism ambassador by learning more about the tourism of my country. I would like to offer one of the best ways to promote our tourism potential through social media since it is very effective and easy to do by everyone.”
