Bunga Rizky was crowned Puteri Indonesia Sumatera Utara 2018 to represent Sumatera Utara province in Puteri Indonesia 2018, which is scheduled to take place on 9th March 2018 in Jakarta, Indonesia. She succeeds and was crowned by the reigning queen Puteri Indonesia Sumatera Utara 2017 Putri Mentari Sitanggang.

This 19-year-old beauty desires to be an ambassador of Indonesia in ASEAN. She has been preparing for the same by participating actively early on in the campus organization and some social activities. Bunga teaches reading and writing to the children of Ade Irma Suryani Nasution Orphanage in Medan as well as provide food and daily necessities to the children there.

She is a 3rd semester student majoring in Social and Political Science Faculty at Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra. Bunga is the eldest of 6 brothers. As the eldest child, she became a model so that she could become a good example to her siblings. She has been nurtured by her parents since she was a child to be an independent, disciplined and responsible person. This is reflected in her brave character when she rides a motorcycle alone in daily life.

She has dreamt to become Puteri Indonesia 2018 since childhood. She has been practicing catwalk training around the free field with high heels shoes as high as 7 inches. She has also prepared a Lyrical Contemporary Dance that she will perform at Puteri Indonesia 2018. Not to forget the support of family and parents who encourage her to continue to struggle and practice for her upcoming run in Puteri Indonesia 2018.

According to her, North Sumatra has tourism potential that is not inferior to other regions in Indonesia.
