On 15th January 2018, the official Facebook page of Miss Tourism posted an album illustrating the amazing fun Miss Tourism World 2018 contestants had while shooting for a swimsuit photo shoot. The dazzling divas rocked the shoot in their outfits which was conducted in Swiss-Garden Hotel in Melaka.
Miss Tourism World 2018 is all set to take place on 27th January 2018 in Swiss Garden Hotel Melaka. Miss Tourism World 2017 Nuchnarin Sinlaparak will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
But before that, let us take a look at our Top 10 favourites of the Swimwear Photoshoot –
Giorgiana Rosas from Venezuela right away melted our hearts as she posed for the cameras wearing a printed blue swimsuit. Not new to the world of pageantry, this Venezuelan beauty was also Miss Tourism Venezuela 2016 and went on to represent Venezuela as its tourism ambassador in Miss Tourism 2016 finale.
From Anzoátegui, Giorgiana dazzled us in her outfit on the day of the photo shoot. With her beautiful long locks that alleviate her beauty and her slender figure, Giorgiana definitely is one of the strongest contenders in the competition this year.
Michelle Molina from Dominican Republic bewitched everyone in a light blue bikini which beautifully complimented her body structure. Michelle Molina also participated in Miss New Jersey USA 2018 where she was placed in Top 18. Her unconventional face and tall frame separate her from the rest of the contestants vying for the coveted title this year.
Michelle also made sure to add her own stylish touch to her outfit as she wore huge earrings and bracelets with her bikini. She has also captured everyone’s heart with her alluring smile.
Andrea Katherine Gutierrez Puentes from Colombia came in looking like a doll on her photo shoot. Wearing a polka dot bikini, the Miss Tourism World Colombia surprised everyone with her style and grace. Andrea impressed everybody at the photo shoot, thereby becoming one of our top favourites.
Magdalena Brkic from Croatia is our next favourite contestant in the swimwear round. From Vinkovci, this sensational beauty rocked the photo shoot in a white bikini which complimented her body perfectly. She won Miss Tourism Croatia along with Ivan Protic who was crowned Mister Tourism Croatia.
Magdalena was also Miss Universe Croatia last year which gives her an edge over the other contestants as she can try to win the crown with her experience in the pageant world.
Marian Angelu Perez Alacantara from the Philippines is people’s favourite since the beginning and why not, with her dazzling smile and unique features, she is definitely the one to look out for in the upcoming finale. The 18-year-old dazzling beauty outshined her fellow contestants in a bright orange bikini.
From the Filipino community of Melbourne, Marian holds the determination and sincerity which is required to win the competition. On being asked about a message she would give to the aspiring beauty queens in an interview with us, she said,” Be unapologetic about who you are. In a world full of beautiful ladies and the constant pressure to be "perfect", don't change who you are. Instead, stand proud, tall and accept everything about yourself, including all your flaws. Don't let your insecurities hinder your ability to bloom and shine not only on stage but in this lifetime.”
Anna Erwood from New Zealand is a 24-year-old diva who started her journey in the world of pageantry Miss Five Crowns New Zealand 2017, a national pageant in New Zealand. From Auckland Central, Anna wishes to increase her confidence and meet new people from all walks of life.
On the day of the photo shoot, the blonde beauty beamed in a blue bikini which has palm trees printed on it. Anna’s goal is to inspire others to chase their goals and dreams as well as get more involved in her community and offer what she can as an individual.
Dewa Ayu Windu Sari Devi from Indonesia won the title of Miss Internet 2013 and since then, there has been no looking back for her. As the representative of Indonesia, Dewa Ayu rocked the photo shoot in a polka dot red swimsuit which completed her body perfectly. A fan of dancing, travelling and cooking, Dewa Ayu wishes to be successful by following her dreams and never backing down.
Wendy Manyanga from Zambia rocked the swimsuit photo shoot in a black bikini, looking as gorgeous as ever. She represented the Southern Province in the Miss Tourism Zambia competition and also represented her country in Miss International 2017.
Wendy looked bold in black as her outfit complimented her body perfectly. She is definitely one of the ones to watch out for in the competition.
Joana Martins from Portugal amassed a lot of compliments on the photo shoot day. The 22-year-old Portuguese beauty is attending the fourth and final year of the Nutrition Sciences degree at Lusophone University.
Joana has always stayed in Top 5 in every competition she has participated in - Miss European Princess 2011 in England, Miss Teenager 2012 in Guatemala, Miss Planet in Greece, Miss Intercontinental Europe in Germany, Miss Bikini in China, and Miss Charity in Taiwan. Looking ever so beautiful in Black, Joana is also a strong contender in the upcoming finale.
Nazareth De Gracia Donoso from Panama is a Legal Assistant and Master’s Degree Student. Nazareth wishes to be the spokesperson to worldwide to endorse the beauty, the tourism and culture that is Panama.
She was also the first runner-up of Miss Veraguas 2016 creating a huge fan base for herself. She wore a black bikini for the photo shoot, looking stunning in her tall frame. She is one of the strongest contestants in the Miss Tourism World pageant this year.
