It’s been more than one and half months since Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters was crowned Miss Universe 2017 on 26th November 2017. Since then she has not been able to go back home and enjoy her win with all her near and dear people. But that’s going to change soon as Demi-Leigh is all set to fly to South Africa on 24th January 2017.
She brought back the Miss Universe crown to South Africa after a long wait of 39 years and now she gets to physically take it to her beloved country. It will be a moment of pride and honour for her and her country and people are getting really excited about her return.

On the work front, Demi-Leigh has been quite busy with her Miss Universe duties; she was recently seen attending Golden Globes with Miss Universe 1978 Margaret Gardiner to promote women equality. Along with this she also visited the Philippines to promote Tourism in the Philippines.
