Kara McCullough was crowned as Miss USA 2017 and succeeded Miss USA 2016 Deshauna Barber, and will now represent the country at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant. The finale took place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. The event was glamorous with all the beautiful ladies rocked the stage with their charismatic aura and stage presence.
The stunner started off her journey with an exciting media tour by attending one of the popular TV Shows, Good Morning America and marked her presence with utmost confidence and lovely smile. With it, she graced the NRC event as well that recognizes talented individuals holding degrees in fields supporting the NRC mission.
She also had a fun-filled day chatting with AJ Calloway on the entertainment news show “Extra.” The best part to watch the excitement and the way the beauty presented her in front of the media. Her confidence and poise were admirable. Being Miss USA brings a lot of fame and responsibilities together and it seems that Kara is managing it satisfactorily from Day 1.
Kara belongs to Washington DC which is one of the most popular cities to produce Miss USA pageant winners and title holders. In fact, her predecessor, Deshauna Barber is also from the same state. Kara McCullough is a Radiochemistry major graduate who headed to become a Department of Commerce IT analyst and an Army Reserve logistics commander.
