The beauty was born in Naples, Italy and has also lived in Japan, South Korea, Sicily and Hawaii.

Kára graduated from South Carolina State University along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry plus a specialization in radiochemistry. She can very well teach you how to balance a chemical equation in just 5 minutes. The beauty is also a scientist at the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

Simple at Heart

She is known for her down to earth nature as she received some positive attention for wearing her hair naturally curly during the finale of Miss USA 2017. The pageant winner said in an interview, “When I chose to wear my hair curly, I was afraid… I didn’t know if people were going to accept it…if anyone was going to be receptive to it at all.” She then decided to move forward and embraced her individuality.

The Guide and Motivator

The beauty queen funds a program known as Science Exploration for kids, which grants math and science-based tutoring to students ranging from six to eleven grades. She hopes to inspire kids through the organization. She said, “I go to the schools to do science projects, tutoring, and presentations… I hope and pray these moments fuel them for their entire lives.”
