Miss USA 2018 is all set to organize its grand finale on 21st May 2018 at the Hirsch Memorial Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisiana where 51 delegates will compete for the opportunity to represent USA at Miss Universe 2018. The reigning Miss USA Kara McCullough will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

But before that, Miss USA 2018 held its preliminary competition at George's Pond at Hirsch Memorial Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisiana where all the contestants paraded and competed in swimwear and evening gowns. The host of the preliminary competition was none other than Kara McCullough who made sure the night was a huge success.

The competition began with all the 51 delegates parading in their swimsuits, looking their athletic best. The swimsuit competition remains the most controversial round at the pageants with many thinking it a spectacle to reduce the contestants down to just their physical measurements.

But, to the contestants it is their chance to showcase health and wellness, discipline and a literal body of hard work. There is no denying the fact that all 51 delegates looked in their best shape, flaunting their mid riffs and tones legs.

After the swimsuit competition, the Evening Gown round was held, also known as the formalwear. With so many floaty trains this year, the tripping scare was definitely real. But the contestants managed to walk with grace and perfection while handing their long gowns.

The scores from the night’s event, along with an interview portion, will help determine the Semifinalists who will compete at the finale. Do you have your favourite swimsuit and evening gown picked out? Let us know in the comments section below.
