Miss USA 2020 Asya Danielle Branch arrived in her native place Booneville on Friday as she appeared in a send-off parade before she competes for Miss Universe 2020. The stunning beauty spent her day making rounds giving hugs, signing autographs and just taking in all the support.
"I've been so excited to come back home and the amount of love and support here is just so surreal," Branch said. "So its amazing to have this energy going into the Miss Universe competition.”
Asya’s biggest supporter, her mother, was also present amongst the long lines and crowds of people. She said, “It is very surreal. Its just exciting to see your child accomplish her goals and get what she has set out to do and worked so hard for so I'm very excited for her.”
Following the parade, Branch spent 40 minutes meeting each person who walked on the red carpet leading up to her in a large tent pitched in a parking lot. Asya definitely feels humbled by the love and appreciation she is receiving for everyone.
Asya also took to her official social media where she wrote, “There’s something that happens to you when you come back to your hometown. I cannot even begin to express the gratitude that I have in my heart. This town. The people. The love. The support. I am so thankful and grateful for each and every person that played a role in making this weekend possible!”
Asya Branch will represent the United States in the 69th Miss Universe which will be held on May 16 in Hollywood, Florida. She is seeking to become the ninth U.S. delegate and the first since Olivia Culpo in 2012 to win the Universe crown.
