The 69th edition of Miss USA i.e., Miss USA 2020 will be held in the month of November 2020 where the delegates from all over the USA will compete for the national crown and an opportunity to represent USA at Miss Universe 2020 stage. Miss USA 2019 Cheslie Kryst of North Carolina will crown her successor at the end of the event.

Along with Miss USA 2020, Miss Teen USA 2020 will be crowned at the end of the event finale. Miss Teen USA 2019 KalieghGarris of Connecticut will crown her successor at the end of the event. The coronation ceremony was scheduled to be held in the spring of 2020, but due to the pandemic, the organization has decided to push it to the end of the year.

They are already developing safety protocols with local health officials. The organization is doing everything in their power to keep the safety of 51 contestants, staffs, and crew. The Miss Universe Organization will announce the date and venue of Miss USA 2020 in the next few weeks.

The competition will mark the first year that a new crown made by luxury jeweller Mouawad will be used at Miss USA, effectively retiring the Mikimoto Crown. 51 states have already crowned their respective delegates who will be competing at the national pageant for the title.

Last year, CheslieKryst represented the USA at Miss Universe 2019 and was placed at Top 10 at the end of the finale. The diva who is an American television presenter and a licensed attorney and has served as a correspondent for Extra since October 2019 was appreciated for her strong performance on-stage. After winning Miss USA 2019, Cheslie became the third woman from North Carolina to win Miss USA.
