Miss USA 2022, the 71st edition of Miss USA, is already turning out to be a neck turner as this edition will witness the greatest number of Filipino-American beauties competing for the national crown. The winner will succeed and be crowned by Elle Smith of Kentucky and will represent USA at Miss Universe 2022.

As it turns out, there are three contestants competing for Miss USA 2022 from the Filipino American heritage. They are Kiana Yamat of Hawaii, Suzanne Perez of New Mexico and R’Bonney Gabriel of Texas.

Kiana Yamat Miss Hawaii USA 2022

Kiana Yamat earned a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and later worked as a design engineer in San Francisco before moving back to Hawaii to work as a construction engineer. She is an athletic person who excelled in track and field, wrestling and cheerleading and a definite strong contender for Miss USA 2022 crown.

Suzanne Perez Miss New Mexico USA 2022

Suzanne Perez is 25 years of age who has studied Communication Sciences and Disorders-Speech Language Pathology at California State University, Fullerton and is currently pursuing master’s degree (MS) in Speech and Language Pathology at Eastern New Mexico University. An extremely talented and educated woman, Suzanne is another strong contender for the national crown.

R’Bonney Gabriel Miss Texas USA 2022

R’Bonney Gabriel is an independent designer who lives and works in Houston, Texas. Her passion for designing began when she started sewing at age 15 and fell in love with constructing things by herself. She is an outgoing, extremely well-spoken lady who knows what she wants. She is also a strong contender for Miss USA 2022 crown.
