21 years old fresh beauty, Autumn Olson won the Miss Wyoming USA 2016 crown. She was crowned by the outgoing queen, Caroline Scott, Miss Wyoming USA 2015 on September 20, 2015 at the Casper Events Center. She will represent Wyoming at Miss USA 2016 pageant slated to be held next year. Lexi Revelli was crowned as first runner-up whereas Whitney Haugen bagged the second runner-up crown. Julia Rose was adjudged as third runner up and Hope Golgart was declared as fourth runner up. Miss Congeniality title went to Virginia Schmidt and Miss Photogenic title was bagged by Julia Rose. Shelly McRoberts was crowned as Miss Teen Wyoming USA 2016 at the same event.

Completing the semi-finalists spot were, Alexis Asa, Tori Cole, Jaycie Johnson, Brianna Kilpatrick, Alex Lajeunesse, Megan Martinez, Alexis May, Samantha Plumb and Virginia Schmidt.
Growing up in a town of four hundred people where academics and athletics are all that seemed to matter, pageantry was a huge leap for Autumn Olson. Her high school was a tornado of volleyball, basketball and track. She managed to gain the honor of First Team All-Conference in two sports her senior year, along with being named Valedictorian. Her dream career is to become a dentist. The profession runs in her family and she would love to follow in the tradition. She comes from a large family, having six siblings. She is the second oldest of her three full siblings. Autumn also has three younger siblings starting at age three that belong to her father and step mom.

As a freshman at Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Autumn Olson once won the Miss Wyoming Teen USA 2013 title. She didn’t place at nationals but took pleasure in it enough to come back only two years later for the Miss Wyoming USA title.
Autumn is a senior at the University of Wyoming and majors in physiology. She plans on applying to dental school this year and hopefully will be attending dental school in the fall of 2017. Autumn loves to enjoy Laramie’s outdoor features. She is often hiking or biking in Curt Goudy or walking her dogs. Autumn loves sports and trying new things and is thrilled to have the opportunity to represent the state of Wyoming at the national Miss USA competition.

Wyoming has never won the Miss USA pageant. Beth King Miss Wyoming USA 1986 got the highest placement for the state. She was in the top 10 of Miss USA 1986 and also won the title of Miss Photogenic. Apart from Beth King, Claire Schreiner is the only delegate from Wyoming to place at the Miss USA pageant. Clarie was part of Miss USA 2010 Top 15. Wyoming has three Miss Congeniality titles through Linda Leafdale (1966), Pam Williams (1979) and Cynthia Pate (2009).
