The finale of Miss United Continents 2017 is scheduled to take place on 23rd September 2017 at Guayaquil, Ecuador. The finalists of the contest have started preparing for the night by indulging in various events and activities. They want to present themselves at their best during the finale to clinch the coveted title.
The 33 contestants visited K. Dorfzaun, Ecuador's largest Panama hat processors and exporters in Cuenca city where delegates received different types of roses as the special gift. Ladies were also made aware that these roses have an estimated life of five years with due care. The aspirants to the crown also visited the sportswear store Rodeport in Cuenca. The CEO Arturo Ramon gifted the ladies with sweatshirts for physical activities and rehearsals.
After that, at Mall del Río in Cuenca, the delegates of Miss United Continents 2017 participated at a fashion show with clothing from different brands. The beauty queens received applause from the audience and they also took photographic memories during the event.
After completing different activities in Cuenca, contestants arrived in Guayaquil, Machala on 8th of this month where Miss Ecuador International 2016, Ivanna Abad welcomed the contestants at her hometown.
On Saturday, 16th September, the candidates participated in the 5K run in Machala, organized by the Municipality of Machala and its mayor Carlos Falquez Aguilar. The 5K athletic competition aims to encourage sports and a healthy lifestyle among the families, It's the second edition of this event with the participation of international beauty queens.
After this hectic event, Candidates tasted exquisite grilled beef at La Tablita del Tártaro in Machala with the Councilor of the city, Paola Valdivieso and they were grateful for having this delicious dinner. They also paid a visit to Bliss Beauty Cosmetics shop and discovered all of its make-up lines. The owner, Morteza Rezare also gave them some tips and gifts to the contestants.
Yesterday, the contestants competed in the Best National Costume round held at Hotel & Centro Comercial Punta del Mar in La Libertad, which was won by Aoom Thaweeporn Phingchamrat from Thailand.
