The former Miss Universe is all set to be seen in the new show "Aarya", after a gap of a decade since she last acted in a Bollywood project. The show will be launched on 29th March 2020. The show is set against the backdrop of Rajasthan and the actor has been shooting there for quite some time. With this show, new OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar streaming network will be entering India too.
Last December the actress wrote on her official page that, "They have waited 10 long years for my return to the screen, lovingly encouraging me every step of the way throughout my hiatus... unconditionally!!! I return just for you!!"
Talking about the show, after the merger of Disney and Fox Star Network it was a wait and watch journey to see Disney+ and Hotstar merge. Now with Sushmita Sen’s new show Aarya, that will mark her return to acting after a ten-year gap, the Indian market will be introduced to Disney+ Hotstar.
The 44-year-old actress also posted a picture, wherein she is seen playing with a little kid who had come to visit her on the sets in Rajasthan. In the photo, Sushmita is holding the kid in her arms while the kid plays with her lipstick. Be it her candid selfies or workout videos, Sushmita Sen has proved to be quite the social media queen.
