Miss Universe 2008 Dayana Mendoza returned to Vietnam almost a week ago where she won her Miss Universe crown ten years ago. For our beloved Venezuelan queen, it was a moment of nostalgia as she reminisced about the memories of her past and the love she has received from the Vietnamese people ever since her crowning.
A few hours ago, Dayana posted a video on her official Instagram with a heartfelt message as the caption for Vietnam and her Vietnamese friends. Dayana began by expressing how they have forever touched her heart and made a permanent place in her life which she cherishes with all her heart. She wrote, “For Vietnam and my beloved Vietnamese friends; You have forever touched my heart, changed my life, every time I was in your country, made me so much a blessing, with your unconditional love, support and joy.”
Dayana expressed gratitude for the days she got to spend in the beautiful country in the company of like-minded individuals which not only made her feel at home but also grow as a person. She also wished to return very soon and give back the love and appreciation that she always received from the people of Vietnam.

As she landed at the airport almost a week ago, Dayana was welcomed with open arms by the people of Vietnam. She caused a major frenzy in the media with her arrival as plentiful photographers were seen right outside the airport trying to catch just one glance of our dazzling queen.
There is no doubt that our Miss Universe 2008 is probably one of the most famous beauty queens globally and we wish that she attains greater success and best health in the coming years too.
