At the age of 22, Dayana Mendoza was crowned as the Miss Universe 2008 at the Crown Convention Center in Nha Trang, Vietnam on 14 July 2008. Misses Colombia, Dominican Republic, Russia, and Mexico were announced as her runners up. Today, the 30 year old is an actress and a model. She has also appeared on Celebrity Apprentice 2012 and served as a judge at the Miss USA 2012 finale. She has also been a finalist at the Elite Model Look International 2001.
