Miss Universe in an annual international beauty pageant run by the Miss Universe Organization. It is one of the esteemed Big Four pageants in the world. The pageant was founded in the year 1952, after being it started as a local "bathing beauty" competition organized by Catalina Swimwear in Long Beach, California. Donald Trump acquired the pageant in the year 1996 after the pageant had gained popularity among various pageant lovers. Trump sold the company to the WME/IMG talent agency in 2015.
