In a recent virtual interview, Iris talked about how she wished to star in a Bollywood movie as she said, “I’ve always wanted to do it. I’m a big fan of Bollywood movies. I adore the dancing and singing and this universe that is so colorful and cool. So if I could, I’d do that.”
Pageant fanatics, specially in India, have gone gaga over her request as they are eagerly waiting for her to star in an Indian movie. There have been comparisons to Jacqueline Fernandez who holds the title of Miss Universe Srilanka 2005 and is one of the most popular Bollywood actresses in India.
After her reign, Iris took up major initiatives to give her contribution to the world. She has been an integral part of the fashion and modeling industry and also supported social causes to complete her responsibilities as Miss Universe. In Forbes France’s Summer 2019 issue, Iris Mittenaere was interviewed and placed in France's top 5 of digital influencers on the 2019 list.
