The Concordia Children's Services is an orphanage for abandoned and neglected children in Sta. Mesa, Manila.

The event was supposed to be attended by Miss Netherlands as well as Miss Costa Rica, but due to bad health the girls couldn’t be a part of the activity. The contestants and their partners, both, feasted on delicious delicacies such as Chickenjoy, Jolli Spaghetti, and Yum! Burger. The contestants also took pictures with the children and were seen having a good time dancing around with the iconic red and yellow bee mascot.

Miss Venezuela Mariam Habach went out of her way to get two extra kiddie meals for two orphans who were served later. Sharing their views about this event, the Jollibee officials said, "Meeting the Miss Universe candidates will be instrumental in the personal development of the Concordia girls who need positive role models to inspire them to become truly confidently beautiful inside out.”

The beauty queens as well as the kids received goodies from the fast food chain, which included plush toys, and Jollibee-themed Swatch watches.
